Geography

The Commission reviews geographic considerations before making its preliminary proposals. Geographic considerations include existing electoral district boundaries, municipal and regional boundaries, natural geographic features (lakes, rivers, mountains, valleys, etc.), the size of an electoral district, and the accessibility of different areas (travel distances, highways, road quality, etc.). Geography can have an impact on how a region is represented in the legislature.

What geographic factors would you like the Commission to consider when drafting its preliminary proposals? Why do you think these are important?

Which option best describes your views on the size of your electoral district?
